提升幼兒健康,創建「倡健學校」

Abstract

本文討論如何在學前教育中提昇幼兒的健康。首先對健康概念及隨人類生活演變而發生變化的情況進行了分析。然後討論了幼兒健康、學前健康教育與提昇幼兒健康之間的關係。文中還提出了幼兒健康照顧的藍圖及家長健康信念基本框架。最後,提出了創建學前「倡健學校」的理念及發展方向,以迎接21世紀幼兒健康發展的新挑戰。
The paper addresses how to promote children’s health by clarifying the concepts of health education in relation to the early Childhood settings. It outlines the scope of children’s health by adapting “whole person” perspective. Based on this perspective, programmes or activities of promoting children’s health are suggested to be developed. The paper also argues that the health beliefs and attitudes of parents, primary caregivers or teachers are influential to health development of children. Further, the paper discusses on how to promote children’s health by establishing Healthy Promoting Preschools. Copyright © 2004 The Hong Kong Institute of Education.
