《從專題研習、「有為」閱讀到通識教育:一所中學校本課程發展的反思》

Abstract

「專題研習」、「從閱讀中學習」及「通識教育」均是香港中、小學教育在不同時段開展的課程改革重點。全港學校為回應這三項課程改革,均以不同程度推行上述項目,以期達致學生「主動學習」、「學會學習」的課程改革目標。本文總結一所中學自2000年開始推動專題研習至今六年的經驗,描繪學校在大學與學校改進計劃的支援下發展各項課程改革的歷程。該校從校本的實踐經驗當中反思及計劃下一階段專題研習的開展,得出結合「專題研習」、「從閱讀中學習」及「通識教育」的理念,並以議題研習為本的方式進行「閱讀學習」,又從是次經驗中帶出對未來通識教育科的教學啟示。
“Project learning,” “read to learn,” and “liberal studies” are some of the major curriculum tasks in Hong Kong since 2000. In response to the education reform, all schools in Hong Kong have tried to carry out the above tasks in educating our students in order to achieve the goal of education reform ̶̶̶̶ ̶ “learning to learn.” Based on the data collected in a secondary school, this article explains the process of the change in the school in the past years, with the support of a school-university partnership program. The authors summarize the experience and reflection from implementing the curriculum tasks, and also point out the linkage and integration of the curriculum tasks in an inspiration to the issue-enquiry teaching and learning approach in Liberal Studies.
