「幼教課程本位的兒童評估模式」研究計劃

Abstract

本文簡述一項正在香港進行的「幼教課程本位的兒童評估模式」研究計劃。本計劃由香港教育學院幼兒教育學系主辦,並於 2005年獲香港優質教育基金贊助,為期兩年,旨在發展一套以學校為本位的兒童評估模式,協助幼兒教育機構運用表現指標評估兒童發展與學習,以提升幼兒教育質素。透過由香港教育學院舉辦的研討會、工作坊和系統兒童觀察,幼兒教育工作者在評估兒童方面的知識和技能得以提升。研究計劃於去年所獲得的資料以及經驗,為下年度有關本地兒童評估模式的研發提供了重要參考。
This paper introduces the implementation of a project entitled “A Curriculum-Based Child Assessment Model for Quality Early Childhood Programme” in Hong Kong which is funded by Quality Education Fund. This two-year project is administered by the Department of Early Childhood Education of the Hong Kong Institute of Education with a view to construct an authentic child assessment model than can be used by preschools in Hong Kong to enhance the quality of their programme. It also aims at helping participants to use performance indicators to assess child development and learning. Through attending seminars and workshops organized by the institute and systematic observation of children, participants were able to enhance their knowledge and skills of child assessment and integrating school curriculum with assessment. The information gathered and experiences acquired in the past year provide invaluable reference for research and development of the child assessment model for Hong Kong in the coming year.
