Abstract
本文匯報一項由香港教育學院舉辦名為「幼教課程本位的兒童評估模式」的研究計劃第二階段工作及成果。該計劃旨在發展一套以學校為本位的兒童評估模式,協助學前機構運用「表現指標」評估兒童的發展與學習,從而提升學前教育質素。透過由香港教育學院舉辦的研討會和工作坊,學前教育工作者在評估兒童方面的知識和技能得以提升。研究結果反映「課程本位的兒童評估模式」有助同業提升學與教效能、專業發展及學校發展。
This paper reports the outcome of the implementation of a project entitled “A Curriculum-based Child Assessment Model for Quality Early Childhood Programme” which was funded by Quality Education Fund. This two-year project was administered by the Hong Kong Institute of Education with a view to construct an authentic child assessment model that could be used by preschools in Hong Kong to enhance the quality of their programmes. It also aimed at helping participants to use performance indicators to assess child development and learning. Through attending seminars and workshops organized by the Institute, participants were able to enhance their knowledge and skills in child assessment and integrating school curriculum with assessment. Other benefits which the project brought to the participating schools include enhancement of teaching and learning effectiveness, teachers’ professional development and school development.
