小學科學學習:建構學習及統整經驗的課程計建議

Abstract

本文就著建構理論的學習觀點及統整學習經驗的方向,建議一個促進小學科學學習的課程設計。另外也特別就著以下多個範疇進行討論及分析:學生的已有科學概念;學生的心理及智力發展的順序編排;與學前科學教育的銜接;學生的整體學習經驗;基本及正確的科學概念;科學概念、技能、態度及意識的並重;和有效及持續的科學學習評估。本文提供一些具科學學習特色的參考資料來支援小學常識科的課程設計,以期最終能讓學生學會與學習相關的科學概念、態度和技能。
The article is based on an understanding of constructivist learning and an integration of learning experiences, and makes suggestions for the development of the science curriculum at the primary level. The article discusses and analyzes the following issues: pupils’ previous science understanding, their psychological and intellectual development, the interface with the pre-primary curriculum, pupils’ integration of learning experiences, fundamental and scientific conceptions, the importance of science concept, skill, attitude and conscious-ness and authentic assessment of science learning. References are made to the above issues on science learning to support the development of General Studies in the primary curriculum to enhance pupils’ learning of related science concepts, attitude and skills.
