學習者身份的意涵及教育價值探析

Abstract

未來的社會是終身學習的社會,在學習型社會的境脈下,學生不僅是“學生”,更是一名“學習者”。與此相應,學習主體的身份也應由“學生身份”(Student identity)向“學習者身份”(Learner identity)轉變。作為一種文化符號或概念工具,學習者身份正如其他身份一樣,也能夠對人類的學習行為起到仲介和調節的作用。同時,學習者身份又是一個復雜的理論概念,它是學習和身份相遇的結果,對其意涵的理解需要對學習和身份有著超越性的認識與把握。作為一種文化工具,學習者身份具有重要的教育價值潛能,其體現在:一是可作為分析教育研究的一面透鏡;二是有助於學生本位的主體性回歸;三是能夠為自主學習和終身學習提供內源性動力;四是重塑了學習活動平等性的對話性本質。
The future is a life-long learning society, in which students are not only "students", but also "learners". Accordingly, the identity of the learning subject should be changed from the "student identity" to the "learner identity". As a cultural symbol or conceptual tool, like other identities, learner identity can mediate and regulate human’s learning behavior. Meanwhile, as a complex theoretical concept, learner identity is the result of an interaction between learning and identity. In order to unpack its multi-faceted meaning, it needs to have a transcendental understanding of learning and identity. As a cultural tool, learner identity has important education values as follows: First, it offers an analytical len in education research. Second, it’s helpful to return and re-emphasize students’ subjectivity. Third, it can provide endogenous motivation for self-directed learning and lifelong learning. Forth, it reshapes the equitable conversational nature of learning activities. Copyright © 2018 國家教育行政學院.
