Abstract

學校自我評估的本意是學校自我完善和發展。可惜,教育統籌局卻混入了大量其他目標,包括監控及藉機推廣某些課改項目,導致學校在評估工作上不但茫無頭緒而感到迷惑,而且亦嚴重干擾了正常的教學工作。本文詳細分析當局心目中由上而下的「學校自我評估」系統及其不恰當之處,藉以幫助學校、教師理解及應對。文章更認為學校應有專業自主的精神和空間。
School self-evaluation should be a mechanism for school self-improvement and actualization. Unfortunately, multiple objectives including school monitoring and implementation of some critical issues in curriculum reform were brought along by the educational authority. Such an action not only caused frustrations, but also seriously interfered the existing objectives and normal working procedures in schools. This article reviews and analyzes the objectives of the authority and the inappropriateness of the implementation of the top-down school self-evaluation, and suggests ways that schools can tackle it. The writer concludes that schools should possess the professional autonomy in school education. Copyright © 2004 趙志成.
