培訓中層人員領導的一個經驗

培訓中層人員的領導能力，成為了近年香港學校中層人員在職培訓的重點；教育局參考幾個中層人員培訓課程後，設計了一個新的系統課程以提升學校中層人員的領導能力，並委託香港教育學院教育政策與行政學系於08年承辦「香港中小學中層人員領導培訓課程」。為了分析這個培訓中層人員培訓課程的經驗，本文將結合相關文獻和學員半結構性訪談資料，來剖析這個培訓課程的個案經驗，讓讀者瞭解受訓中層人員對課程的評價和對中層人員領導的反思。
School middle managers are the key link between the school management committee, the principal and the teaching staff in schools. The success of any school-based reform effort is dependent upon the effective enactment of leadership roles by these senior teachers. In order to support the professional development of middle managers in schools, the Education Bureau commissioned the Department of Educational Policy and Administration of The Hong Kong Institute of Education to conduct a Middle Managers Leadership Training programme for Primary and Secondary Schools in 2008. This paper aims to review the effectiveness of the training programme. Semi-structured interviews were conducted to collect participants’ view on the effectiveness of the programme and their reflection on the learning process. Copyright © 2010 優質學校教育學報.
