Abstract

「互動 + 發聲:3D立體觸摸漢字設計及工作坊」是一個特別為視障人士(PVI)而設計的中文學習研究項目。團隊設計一套全新的「學」與「教」工具: 可互動、觸摸及發聲的3D立體漢字。通過其具備前瞻性和普及性的功能,有助於建立及改善現有中文文字教學法,並提升不同年齡層及種族的中文學習效能。
我們期待把當中研究的結果及新知識轉化為實用,能1) 提供一個貼近社區的藝術、科技及數碼媒體的綜合學習體驗,2) 透過這套學習工具,提供全新的「漢字文化藝術學習體驗」,以達致傷健共融。

The "Interaction + Audio: 3D Touch Chinese Character Design and Workshop" research project is specially designed to assist people with visual impairment (PVIs) in learning Chinese characters. This project aims to 1) provide an integrated Chinese learning experience with the aid of art, technology and digital media, and 2) promote disability inclusion and community engagement. A novel "learning" and "teaching" kit is developed, which includes a set of “interactive”, “touchable” and “audible” 3D Chinese characters. By providing special visual aids and touch supportive tools integrated with advanced technology, this user-friendly learning tool offers step-by-step guidance to help them learn Chinese and Chinese culture, and experience the beauty of Chinese calligraphy.
