Abstract
幼兒體育活動雖是本港學前教育課程中的主要學習領域之一,但在實際推行時多被幼稚園忽略。要令兒童得到全面發展,將體育活動整合於其他課程中是一個值得發展的方向。本文旨在介紹筆者在香港一間幼稚園推行「利用幼兒體育活動學習學術概念」試驗計劃的行動研究,嘗試探討如何利用體育活動促進幼兒的綜合學習。研究發現,體育活動可以有效促進學科概念的學習和掌握,亦可有效促進兒童認知、社會性和創造力的發展。
Physical development is widely regarded as a vital field in early childhood education and contributes to “all-round development”, but cognitive development is usually given with the first priority and little attention has been put on physical development. This paper reports the action study which has explored whether physical activities could be a tool for learning of academic concepts and a route for emotional and social development. The results have indicated that the physical activities in preschools could facilitate integrated learning and are multi-beneficial to children’s all-round development.
