Abstract

本文簡單介紹了「優質幼兒教學之自我評及完善模式」的研究。該研究於2001至2003年6月展開,研究小組七位成員與12間本地幼兒教育機構共同協作,實際嘗試運用教編局編訂的《學前教育表現指標「學與教範疇」》,評估各幼兒教育機構的教學質素,從而找出機構的強項及尚待改善的地方,並進行重點改善工作。本研究試圖通過各試點幼教機構的試用和探索來總結出可供業界參考的各種推行模式,為進一步完善《表現指標》提出可資借鑒的改善建議,並最終出版了一套簡單易用的運用指引資源套。
This paper briefly reports the QEF Project, A Self-Assessment and Self-Improvement Model for Quality Teaching in Preschools. The 12 participating preschools worked collaboratively with 7 consultants from the School of Early Childhood Education for 18 months as they assessed and improved their practice using the Performance Indicators. The project has successfully constructed an authentic and practical self-assessment and self-improvement model that can be used by preschool in Hong Kong to enhance the quality of learning and teaching. The Guide to using the Pre-primary Performance Indicators in Learning and Teaching has been published and disseminated to all kindergartens and childcare centers in Hong Kong.
