以成長小說作為語文科教材:教師和學生問卷調查

Abstract

成長小說具有促進高小和初中學生語文學習和個人成長的作用;不過,由於篇幅和題材的關係,成長小說一直沒有出現在香港中、小學的語文教材中。三位語文教師培訓者近日在語文基金的資助下,探討在中小學語文課程中,加入成長小說作為學習內容的可行性。本研究通過教師問卷訪問和學生問卷訪問方式,瞭解教師和學生成長小說的看法和意見。研究團隊期望問卷調查,瞭解不同持分者對在中文科教材中加入成長小說的接受程度和對教學實踐的意見,以便設計試教單元,在中小學語文課堂進行教學試驗。
Growing-up Stories can enhance the effectiveness of language learning and personal growth of both senior primary students and junior secondary students. However, growing-up stories are not found in the Chinese language textbooks in Hong Kong due to their extensive length and sensitive themes. Sponsored by the Language Fund, three language teacher trainers tried to explore the possibilities of adopting growing-up stories in language teaching. This study examines the views of teachers and students towards growing-up stories through questionnaire survey, and investigate the acceptance of growing-up stories among different shake-holders in order to develop pilot teaching materials and teaching strategies with growing-up stories for the project.
