This paper reports and evaluates how a local school tries to achieve the aims of sixth form curriculum through a new school- based curriculum reform programme. Support from the school authority, a common vision of reform and collaboration among teachers are found to be favourable factors. However, they are counteracted by the admission policy of tertiary institutes, inadequate provision of in-service education and resources. The writers wish to draw the attention of those concerned to the issue and share their experiences with other schools. Copyright © 1994 香港大學課程學系.
