Description
This project is supported by the Research Matching Grant Scheme of the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong and in-kind donations from industrial partners with a total amount of HKD 5,964,000. (HKD 2,982,000 from the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong and HKD 2,982,000 in-kind donations from industrial partners.)
This research project aims to develop advanced wireless communication schemes tailored to the low-latency, high-reliability transmission of short-packet data in time-sensitive Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs). The proposed schemes will be validated through prototype development utilizing the donated technologies. The outcomes of this project have the potential to significantly enhance the efficiency and reliability of time-sensitive WBANs, leading to innovative applications in healthcare, sports, and wellness domains.
