Description
This project examines the professionalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Hong Kong since the mid-1990s by reviewing its quest for institutionalization and public acceptance. In particular, we focused on the formation of TCM practitioners as a collective actor, their organization and professional identity, and their interactions with the various stakeholders in the professionalization of TCM in Hong Kong.
