Description

(HKEPD consultancy project, HK$600,000, 2006-2008): The objective of this consultancy project is to study the situation of use of non-architectural coatings/adhesives/sealants and in Hong Kong; and to develop appreciate regulatory controls to reduce the overall VOC emissions to contribute to meeting the agreed emission reduction target. The scopy of this study included (i) research on the situation of the use of non-architectural coatings/adhesives/sealants in Hong Kong; (ii) assess the significance of their use to the ozone formation and smog problem in Hong Kong; and (iii) develop control programmes for their future use in Hong Kong.
