Description
This project aims to introduce fundamental concepts of smart city and smart mobility with Singapore as an example to students and teachers through participating in a 5-day study trip. After the completion of the study trip, participants (students and teachers) should be able to:
i) Understand how Singapore is developing towards a smart city, and what the challenges the city is encountering in such development;
ii) Appreciate how different stakeholders can work together the goal of developing Singapore into a smart city;
iii) Understand the role of the Singapore government in developing Singapore into a smart city; and
iv) Understand the social and cultural environment of Singapore in relation to smart city development.
