Low-temperature Selective Catalytic Reduction of NO with NH3 over the Catalysts Based on Mn/TiO2

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

(Central Research Grant, PolyU, HK$ 150,000, 2007-2008): The project was focus on the NO removal from stationary source. The purpose is to improve the traditional SCR process. With the effective low-temperature SCR catalysts, the SCR process could be moved to the downstream of the particle control device and desullfurization scrubber, saving the costs for investment and operation. In this project, the catalysts had been developed, and the most appropriate operating parameters were obtained. Furthermore, the mechanism of the reaction was improved, which would be useful for the future research. Therefore, it is the research of theoretical interest and also of great relevance to applications.
