Hong Kong is now preparing a wholescale educational reform. At this juncture, therefore, it is meaningful to review past educational reforms. Through this project we will document and analyse the historical development of key educational policies in Hong Kong, drawing on policy addresses and documents, research reports and media resources, as well as academic literature. Thus, we aim to understand the trajectories of the select policies and factors that have shaped them. The project will directly contribute to the improvement of learning, teaching and policy research by sharing the gained insights and knowledge, as well as the collected policy-related materials, through a public interactive archive which is currently being developed.
