Description
The overall aim of the proposed study is to develop and evaluate a smartphone-based behavioral intervention for adolescents with ADHD and SO in Hong Kong, with three hypotheses:
1. The intervention group will have a greater sustained reduction in self-reported smartphone
dependence and objective smartphone usage, relative to the control group.
2. The intervention group will show a greater sustained reduction of self and parent-rated
ADHD symptoms compared to the control group.
3. Spectral power differences in resting-state electroencephalogram (EEG) in the smartphone
salient vs smartphone non-salient conditions will index SO intervention effects among
adolescents with ADHD.
