Description
This study proposes to examine young men’s perspectives of changing gender relationships. It examines young men’s gender ideologies and their understanding of hegemonic masculinity, in particular their views of what ‘real men’ should be and have in relation to women and other men in the twenty-first century. It also explores their views of ‘masculinity threats’ such as their perceived fear, anxiety and anger over what threatening their sense of manhood in particular in relation to gender relations, sexuality and sexual violence
