Description

This will be an in-depth research with emphasis on the phenomenon of imitation, exploring the intricate incentives for the practice and selection of material, which will reveal the embedded cultural and social values in the materials and objects per se. More broadly, this research will demonstrate the importance of studying material culture as a way to enhance our understanding of the religious ideologies as well as Han society.
