To promote critical thinking skills in conjunction with English language learning, a project “Argumentation and Critical Thinking Development through e-Learning” is initiated by EdUHK. Arguendo, an e-Learning platform designed by the University of Toronto and supported by the donation of the Li Ka Shing Foundation, is used in this project. Arguendo will help EdUHK postgraduate students develop dialogical skills, i.e. questioning, challenging, answering, responding and clarifying, through dialogues and role-play around short essays or arguments drawn from texts selected by teachers and/or created by students.
