Project Details
Description
The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health, known more commonly as ICF, is a classification of health and health-related domains developed by World Health Organization (WHO). It is a framework that supplements the International Classification of Disease (ICD) in which the functioning and disability of an individual occurs in a context are coded. The proposed framework will form the major platform for the development of a clinical consortium for the study of speech-language disorder in Chinese children according to the classification of ICF. This framework will provide important data for advanced research in speech-language disorders in Chinese children, from theory to practice, which will have significant social impact.
