本研究旨在探討香港初中非華語生(Non-Chinese Speaking students, NCSs)必修的中國歷史科教學情況,從而了解學習中史對提升NCSs中文語言能力的助益。研究以錄取不同NCSs佔比的學校為案例,分析受訪學校的校本 NCSs 中史教學策略及科任教師與 NCSs 在課堂上的講述、問答、反饋等教學互動實況。通過課堂觀察、話語分析、教師訪談及蒐集學習成果顯證,研究結果將揭示教授 NCSs 中史對提升他們中文能力的機會和挑戰;歸納所得的中史教學設計及課堂策略,將為中史科任教師教授 NCSs 中史提供實證參考,並拓寬中文科任教師的教學視角,為 NCSs 創設中文的學以致用體驗方案帶來切實的啟示。
