It provides students with opportunities to learn through close and continuous interaction with academic or teaching staff. It is hoped that the traditional Chinese virtue of respecting teachers and caring for students can be promoted through close teacher-student relationships. With the generous donation from Tin Ka Ping Foundation and the Scheme having experiential learning components, a Learning Award comprising a one-off honorarium will be disbursed to the participating students (“mentees”) upon successful completion of the following assessment tasks at the end of the Scheme.
