Rebecca Cheung joined The Education University of Hong Kong as an Assistant Professor in 2014. She received her B.S. from Michigan State University and her Ph.D. from University of Notre Dame. Her research interests focus on culture and family processes of child development and mental health. Guided by a developmental psychopathology perspective, she studies the role of contextual factors in shaping the course of normal and atypical development. Her recent work focuses on understanding developmental trajectories and mediation processes linking parental and children’s well-being.
