Dr. Zhan Ying is an Associate Professor at The Education University of Hong Kong. She holds a PhD from The University of Hong Kong and specializes in feedback, formative assessment, and e-assessment, with a focus on higher education.

With over 20 years of tertiary-level experience, Dr. Zhan has published more than 60 refereed journal articles and received multiple teaching awards, including Distinguished Young Teacher, Best Undergraduate Supervisor, and Teaching Excellence honors. Most recently, she was honored with The President’s Award for Outstanding Performance in Teaching 2024/25 (Individual Award – General Faculty Member Category).
