Dr Man Ying Ling , the Leader of Professional Development Programme ( Chinese & Putonghua), has been serving the HKIEd since 1995. She teaches Chinese Traditional Culture, Reading theories and Strategies, General Education Subjects on Daoism within the BEd and M Ed Programs. She supervises MEd & EdD students on their theses.

Dr Man Ying Ling has been appointed as a member of the Public Examinations Board of the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority(2015-2017), the Vice Chairperson of Committee on Home and School Cooperation (2007-2011), a member of consultation panel of the West Kowloon CulturDistrict Authority( 2009-2011) and a member of Committe on the Promotion of Civic Education (2009-2011). Dr. Man also served as a member of Steering Committee on the Task Force on Language Support and PMIC Support Scheme (2010-2013).
