Vivienne Leung joined the Institute in 1996. For many years, she has coordinated the Pre-service Certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and the B.Ed ECE (Hons) part-time programs. Her research focuses on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in learning and teaching, particularly in preschool settings. She has also explored portfolio assessment for young children, teachers’ perceptions of using portfolios to support learning, picturebooks and young children, Early STEM/STEAM education, and global childhoods.

• Consultant with EVI Education Service since 1999.
• School board manager of The Eduhk Early Childhood Learning Centre.
• Member of the conference committee for the Seventh International OMEP conference held in Hong Kong in 2008 and is currently on the conference committee for the Seventeen International Conference on Learning to be held in Hong Kong in July of 2010.
• Co-organizer of the Montessori Conference 2017.
• Curriculum Consultant, SKH St Christopher Nursery (Kwai Chung) since 2018.
• Development committee memember, SKH Kiddie Square 2020.

Vivienne Leung' s teaching areas include 'Learning and Teaching in Early Childhood Education', 'Early Childhood Curriculum: Theory and Practice' and 'Information and Communication Technologies in Early Childhood Curriculum. She has been a Practicum Supervisor and Field Experience Coordinator of both in-service and pre-service students of Early Childhood programs.
