Dr. William Choi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Early Childhood Education, the Education University of Hong Kong. He completed his PhD at the University of Hong Kong, and has worked at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and University College London (UCL) as a Fulbright-Lee Hysan Visiting Scholar and Croucher Post-doctoral Fellow respectively. Dr. Choi's research focuses on suprasegmental speech perception and reading development in bilingual children and adults. He has a special interest in Cantonese tone and English stress perception in Cantonese and English listeners.
