YOON Sung Hee 尹盛熙

Sunghee has spent ten years teaching Korean to students in Hong Kong of various language levels at established institutions, including HKU and CUSCS. She has the Level 1 Certificate of Korean Language Teacher and has been issued the Professional Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. She completed her master’s degree at Ewha Womans University in Seoul, South Korea. Sunghee’s vast experience in teaching students the Korean language, culture, and Business Korean will undoubtedly benefit those interested in learning Korean.

홍콩교육대학교, 현대언어학부(한국어과정) 윤성희입니다. 

I joined the Education University of Hong Kong in 2021. Before joining the Department of Linguistics and Modern Language Studies at EdU, I taught the Korean Language at HKU and CUSCS for ten years. I taught various Korean language courses from beginners to advanced, as well as business and cultural courses. I hold the Korean Language Teacher Certificate (Level 1) issued by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Republic of Korea, and I also have the Professional Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. My vast experience in teaching Korean language, culture, and business Korean will undoubtedly benefit the EdU students interested in learning Korean.

I also try to keep up to date with the changes and cultural trends in Korean society. It is about empathizing with students about contemporary culture to inspire students interested in Korean language and culture. I am confident that my passion will undoubtedly be a valuable asset to the Education University of Hong Kong. I will also keep my vision wider and wider and never stop challenging and growing to fulfill my role for the prosperity of Korean Studies at the Education University of Hong Kong.
