Dr. Szeto is an assistant professor in Department of Education Policy and Leadership, a co-director of Centre for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education, and a research fellow in Asia Pacific Centre for Leadership and Change at the Education University of Hong Kong. He has teaching experience in undergraduate, graduate levels, and supervises local and overseas doctor students from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Dr. Szeto has led or been involved in various international, cross-institutional, and local research projects funded by Policy Innovation and Coordination Office of the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, British Educational Leadership, Management and Administration Society (BELMAS), U.K., Research Grants Council, Hong Kong Jockey Club, and the Education University of Hong Kong. The International School Leadership Development Network (ISLDN, https://isldn.weebly.com/) he has been actively engaged in has initiated research projects in 30 cities since 2009. Dr. Szeto is also an assistant editor of International Journal of Leadership in Education contributing to the research community in the field, and has published book chapters and research papers in international scholarly journals. 

Research interests

Dr. Szeto's research interests include education policy, educational leadership, leadership for inclusion in the diverse setting of schools, and teacher's learning, development and innovative technological pedagogical and content knowledge (TPACK).
