Dr. Szeto is Assistant Professor in Department of Education Policy and Leadership, Co-director of Centre for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education, and Research Fellow in Asia Pacific Centre for Leadership and Change in The Education University of Hong Kong. He is also Visiting Professor of Doctoral Programme, Facultad de Educación, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. With rich experience of teachingand research in Hong Kong and Santiago, he has successfully supervised doctoral students in The Education University of Hong Kong and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Dr. Szetois awarded Fulbright-RGC Hong Kong Senior Research Scholar2020/2021. He has led or been involved in various international, cross-institutional, and local research projects funded by Policy Innovation and Coordination Office of the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Research Grants Council of University Grants Committee, Hong Kong Jockey Club, The HSBC 150th Anniversary Charity Programme, and British Educational Leadership, Management and Administration Society (BELMAS). He is one of the active researchers in International School Leadership Development Network (ISLDN, https://isldn.weebly.com/) engaging in research studies in 30 cities. The Network has beensponsored by BELMAS and University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA, the U.S.) since 2009. Dr. Szeto is an assistant editor of International Journal of Leadership in Education (Q1, SCImago) contributing to the research community in the field. He has published book chapters andresearch articles in international scholarly journals.

Research interests

Dr. Szeto's research interests include education policy, educational leadership, leadership for inclusion in the diversesetting of schools, and teacher's learning, development and innovative technological pedagogical and content knowledge (TPACK).
