Adjunct Assistant Professor with 25 years as kindergarten teacher educator in The Education University of Hong Kong (2016-present), The Hong Kong Institute of Education (1995-2016) and Grantham College of Education (1991-1995). Dedicated to enhancing teacher professionalism, and upgrading kindergarten teacher occupation. Collaborated with faculty staff in the development of the Qualified Kindergarten Teacher Education, the Certificate in Kindergarten Education, the Certificate in Early Childhood Education, the Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education, and the Diploma in Early Childhood Education. Accomplished projects of curriculum design, teaching and learning, learning assessment, school-based development support, and story reading aloud. Currently, actively participated in service and research projects helping children in ethnic minority background better prepared for the mainstream education in the future via learning Chinese as a second language in local kindergartens.
