Chinese name: 陳俊豪

Dr. Randolph Chan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Special Education and Counselling (SEC). He obtained his PhD in Psychology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Before joining SEC, he worked as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration at the University of Hong Kong. His research areas focus on health and well-being of youth and marginalized populations with a particular emphasis on sexual and gender minorities as well as people with mental health difficulties. Specifically, his research examines social and community factors (such as minority stress and societal stigma) that affect wellness and diversity. His research also seeks to understand how members of marginalized groups draw on resilience resources to positively adapt within the context of social adversity.
