Dr. Qiaoping Zhang is currently an Assistant Professor of the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology at the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), serving as the Programme Leader of the Master of Arts in Mathematics and Pedagogy [MA(MP)]. Before joined in EdUHK, he has worked at Hubei University, East China Normal University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He obtained his PhD from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2010. His research interests are mainly on affect in mathematics education, mathematics teacher education, and students' mathematical problem-solving.
