Personal profile

Dr. Tam is an Assistant Professor at The Education University of Hong Kong, specializing in drama and early childhood education. She currently serves as the Cluster Associate Coordinator for the Doctor of Education Programme (ECE). Her research has been widely published in both regional and international journals. Recent projects include integrating drama education into preschool curricula, Sinophone applied theatre, and the professional development of teaching artists. Her work has received local and international recognition, including the President's Award for Outstanding Performance in Knowledge Transfer (2020/21) and the Merit Award for Arts Education at the Hong Kong Arts Development Awards (2015) by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, HKSAR. Dr. Tam also holds leadership roles as Chairperson of the Hong Kong Theatre/Education Forum (TEFO) and as a member of the Editorial Board for the journal Research in Drama Education.
