Dr Miron Bhowmik is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Education Policy and Leadership in The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Specialist at the Faculty of Education and Human Development, and was previously a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Department of Special Education and Counselling. Prior to joining EdUHK, he was a Programme Officer at the UNESCO Asia and Pacific Regional Bureau for Education in Bangkok, Thailand. He has also worked for the British Council and several universities in Bangladesh. He is particularly interested in the educational policies and practices as they relate to diversity, equity and inclusion.
