Dr DARZHINOVA Liubov is a Research Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of the Education University of Hong Kong. Before stepping into this academic position, Liubov served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Education University of Hong Kong under the RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme (renamed as RGC Junior Research Fellow Scheme).

Ahead of her transition into academia, Liubov earned her Doctor of Philosophy degree with the support of the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme. Before moving to Hong Kong, Liubov studied for MA in Applied Linguistics at the University of Pannonia in Hungary with the assistance of Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program.

Prior to embarking on her graduate studies, Liubov worked as a Regional Representative of the School League program in the Republic of Kalmykia from 2013 to 2017, organizing science education projects for the local youngsters. Liubov received her BA in English and German Studies summa cum laude at Kalmyk State University in Russia.
