Dr. Kwok Wai Ng completed his PhD at The University of Sydney. His research is on the transmission and development of Tang music (tōgaku) in Japan, focusing on aspects of musical notation, the structure of modes, the use of ornaments, and orally transmitted performance techniques. Dr Ng is currently a lecturer at the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts, The Education University of Hong Kong.
