Postdoctoral researcher with an emerging publication record (26 peer-reviewed manuscripts, 3 book chapters). Earned double Ph.D degrees from Ghent University and Marmara University with distinction. Awardee of the 2021 Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation named after Prof. Dr. Kadir Beycioğlu by Educational Administration Research and Development Association-EERA. Awardee of the 2025 BELMAS Best Blog Runner-up. Hold solid research experience in programming with a broad range of applied statistics software: RSiena, PNET, XPNET, StOCNET, MPLUS, AMOS, LatentGold, STATA, SPSS, and UCINET/NetDraw. Beyond quantitative research paradigm, interested in the critical lens of sociological theories including Foucauldian discourse analysis, semantic network analysis, and Bourdieusian sociology.
Taught undergraduate and graduate courses on Leadership Theories, Research Methods, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Project Management, and Education Philosophy in several universities. Recently, supervised a Master's thesis (2023) on the mutual relationship between instructional and technology leadership practices.
Long served as Chief Project Executive at Maltepe District Governorship of Istanbul, in the capacity of PI, wrote and managed a number of social equity and inclusion oriented education projects, which received a total of US$370,000 in grants from UNHCR, Save the Children Istanbul, the Ministry of Development, and the EU. Awardee PI of the Best State Project-2019 by Turkish Ministry of Interior (see the project: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ejtd.2021.100241).
