Ms. Leung Ka-wai joined the Institute in 2008. Prior to joining the Institute, she was a school guidance teacher in primary school for years. She holds dual master degrees from the Chinese University of HK in the field of Educational Psychology and the University of HK for Social Science Studies in Family Therapy respectively. She also gained a Specialist degree at the University of Virginia which focused in the area of Special Education. Her research interests are in the areas of differentiation of instruction for academically diverse learners including teacher attitudes and practices related to academic diversity, and the change process in schools moving toward more academically responsive classrooms. She is now completing her EdD study in the Chinese University of Hong Kong and has participated in research studies in conceptualizing and contextualizing the 3-Tier support model for inclusive education in Hong Kong.
