As a trained science educator, Jinping is a strong advocate for student-centered learning and is deeply passionate about mentoring students to support their academic and professional development. Dr. Cheng's research is centered on ecotoxicology and environmental health, with a focus on assessing the effects of anthropogenic stressors on the environment and public health. Our work emphasizes the role of environmental microbiomes in mediating interactions, investigating their influence on the environmental fate and impact of emerging and persistent pollutants, as well as the dynamics of their habitats.
