Dr. LU Jiafang received her doctoral degree in Applied Psychology from Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is fascinated with studying emerging phenomena in school leadership teams, leadership development, as well as factors enabling teacher collaboration and innovation. She shares her interest with similar enthusiasm for translating knowledge in these areas into leadership development and school improvement in Hong Kong and beyond. During 2020 and 2024, she contributes to the local implementation of the new policy on Enhanced Training Requirements for Promotion by co-coordinating related training programmes or engaging in direct training for 6000+ teacher leaders. In 2024, her team secured a 51-month donation project from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust to design and implement a comprehensive programme to support the sustainable development of school leaders to lead future-ready, inclusive schools.
