Jet is a Postdoctoral Fellow from the Department of Special Education and Counselling of the Education University of Hong Kong under the Research Grants Council PDF Scheme. His research focuses on Positive Youth Development (PYD) and its cross-sectional and longitudinal associations with psychological and academic outcomes. As a registered psychometrician (RPm) and psychologist (RPsy) in the Philippines, Jet handled youth and adult cases with mental health issues and psycho-social concerns. He has also taught psychology and research-related courses at the undergraduate level. His other research interests include the mental health of adolescents and emerging adults, positive education, pre-service teacher training, as well as the psychology of religion and spirituality.
