Dr. Liu Fung Ming Christy obtained her PhD in Translation and Intercultural Studies from Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Spain. Her research interests focus on understanding translation practitioners in the workplace, translation pedagogy and translation practices. Her publications have appeared in international peer-reviewed journals such as Meta, Perspectives, Babel and Across Languages and Cultures.
Dr. Liu received the Faculty Teaching Award in the Faculty of Humanities of EdUHK in 2016. She secured support from the General Research Fund of the Research Grants Council to examine translator professionalism in East Asia.
