Dr Ho is an adjunct assistant professor of the Department of Special Education and Counselling at the Education University of Hong Kong. He is the programme co-ordinator of the Basic, Advanced and/or Thematic Courses for Teacher Professional Development on Catering for Students with Special Educational Needs (BAT).  He has been teaching in the areas of special/inclusive education in the University for over twenty years and has extensive experiences in managing teacher education programmes. His work has contributed largely to students with dyslexia and autistic spectrum disorder, as well as their teachers. His research have been published in quality academic journals, including Reading and Writing: An Interdisciplinary JournalEducational PsychologyBritish Journal of Special Education and Journal of Learning Disabilities.

Reading and writing difficulties, education of children with autistic spectrum disorders, professional development for teachers of special schools, inclusive education
