Dr. Clare Yu is currently an Assistant Professor of the Department of Health and Physical Education at the Education University of Hong Kong.  She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), USA.

Research interests

The focus of Dr Yu's research has been in paediatric exercise science, childhood obesity, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles in general population and disease groups. During the past few years, she has the opportunities to conduct large scale studies to evaluate cardiopulmonary and muscular fitness, and psychological health in healthy Chinese children and in childhood cancer survivors, and to conduct systematic activity interventions in young children with autism spectrum disease.
