Personal profile

After completing his PhD, Dr Jerry Yeung first worked at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) as a Postdoctoral Fellow, under a Collaborative Research Fund (CRF) project focused on early childhood development and education. He is now working at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) under the Research Grants Council (RGC) Junior Research Fellow Scheme. Jerry's research focuses on children's creativity, arts education, teacher professional development (PD), pedagogies, and curriculum, specifically within Early Childhood Education (ECE) settings. Trained as a preschool teacher in Hong Kong, Jerry's research is informed by the notion of "Glocalization" (hybridization of global and local perspectives in education) and his working experience in preschools. Jerry has published articles in international academic journals such as Arts Education Policy Review. His work has been presented at local and international conferences.
